Root canal treatment

Root canal treatment is performed when the inside of a patient’s tooth (the pulp) becomes infected. The procedure is designed to relieve the pain and discomfort of infection while saving the tooth — preventing the subsequent need for a bridge or an implant.

During root canal treatment, your dentist will open the tooth and remove the infected pulp. The inside of the tooth is then cleaned thoroughly before being filled and sealed. We recommend capping your tooth with a crown after root canal treatment to prevent it from cracking.

At Kind Dental, we have the latest technology for root canal treatment to minimise pain and speed recovery.
