Lasers Dentistry

At Kind dental we can use Waterlase to remove tooth decay, especially with children. This advanced technology means there is no need to use local anaesthesia — and that means no needles!

The type of laser — known as an Erbium laser — can be used to treat both soft and hard tissue during a whole host of procedures. Because the laser creates minimal heat and damage to nearby tissue, patients can heal faster and experience less pain.

The laser cauterises soft tissue as it works, meaning there is less bleeding. It also avoids some of the risks of alternative electrosurgery procedures.
